Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup of self rising flower
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 shake of salt
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2/ 3 cup of brown sugar( or regular)
- 1 large egg
- 2 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
Optional: Nuts or white chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Line a 8 inch square baking dish with aluminum foil, spray lightly with cooking spray
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa, and salt, set aside
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar with electric mixer at medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes
- Add egg, egg whites, and vanilla continuing to beat until well mixed
- Reduce speed to low and slowly add in the flour mixture, then the yogurt, scraping the sides of the bowl when needed ( batter will be thick)
- Stir in chocolate and any other add ins you like
- Spread mixture evenly into the dish
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until fork comes out clean in the center
- Let cool and enjoy!
